I started this from my appreciation of figure drawing and the exploration of the human body. Ever since my first nude classes I’ve had an affinity to the individual shape of people.
After moving to Manhattan I picked up drawing once again and started doing sketch exercises of all different possible shapes and sizes – Lips, Butts and Boobs. I felt these body parts were some of the most accentuated attributes…connecting curves and shapes throughout the entirety of the form.
It was at this same time I discovered thrifting, second hand store and collecting small home décor pieces to restore, flip and give new life. Combing illustration with tangible pieces intrigued me the most.
